Privacy notice
How we handle the details, plans and project documents you send us for a quote or an assessment.
What we collect
When you request a quote or engage us, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number if provided, your role in the project, the project address and type, the approval pathway, your message, and the plans and other documents you upload, link to or email.
How we use it
- To prepare your quote and reply to your enquiry.
- If you proceed, to prepare the assessment, certificate or report, and any revisions.
- To contact you about the project, for example to ask for missing information.
We don’t use your details for marketing and we don’t sell them.
How the quote form is processed
The quote form on this site is a Netlify form. Netlify, our website host, receives the submission and any uploaded file, stores them with the site’s form submissions and forwards them to our inbox at energy@mworxgroup.com.au. Plans sent by email go to the same inbox.
Who else sees your information
- Government certificate systems. To issue a certificate, project details such as the address, dwelling type, construction and specification are entered into the NSW Planning Portal (BASIX) and the national NatHERS certificate system. Those systems are operated by government and their own privacy policies apply.
- Your project team. We send certificates, stamped plans and reports to you, and to your certifier, builder or designer only when you ask us to.
- Service providers. Our email, file storage and website hosting providers process data on our behalf to run those services.
We don’t share your plans with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Project files are kept as business records for the life of the certificate or report, so that revisions can be prepared if the design changes and so that a certifier can verify what was assessed. Quote requests that don’t proceed are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted. You can ask us to delete files we hold for you at any time, subject to any records we must keep.
